Referring to the Circula from the General Priso as
Board, and which was read to us on parade this morning, I
beg most respectfully to apply for the appointment therein
stated to be va/cant. I have formed been upwards of
10 years in the Irish Prisons Service, and am the roughly
acquainted with the duties pertaining to the office of
Warder. I have performed the most onerous duties in the
service which can be certified to by my superior officers.
Should I be appointed to the vacancy, it shall always be
my endeavour to perform my duties with fidelity, and to the
satisfaction and credit of those who may be pleased to
recommend me for the position.
